Good morning, Wolfenati, from a rapidly more autumnal New Zealand. It has now gotten chilly enough in the mornings that I have started setting the heater to turn on 15 minutes before I get up. Brr. Those of you in the Northern half of the world better be appreciating your spring for me. 😉
The Wolfenoot Story
On Saturday, I sent off all the international standard copies of The Wolfenoot Story, so if you ordered it, it is winging its way to you.
The Kid and I have been working on the deluxe editions, and we should get them out this week. They take a little longer because you get all sorts of cool extra surprises with them. 😀
If you missed out on ordering the book and still want it, you can still get it on The Patchwork Raven website. We even still have some of the deluxe books, but be aware that once they’re gone, they’re gone. We won’t be printing more of those.
The Golden Paw
I have chosen the Golden Paw recipient for April, but I’ve been so caught up getting the books done that I haven’t had a chance to notify them yet. I will hopefully get to that in the next couple of days, and then I can announce it.
You can still nominate people for May. If you nominated for April and your person isn’t the chosen person, they remain in the pool for the whole year, so there is no need to nominate them again every month. It was very difficult choosing just one from all the beautiful stories I received. ❤
I am hoping to get the Patreon rewards for this month off and in the post in the next week or two, but I am waiting on things to arrive to me, so it may take a bit longer. If you have supported us at the postcard tier, you will be receiving a postcard with a picture drawn by the kid of “The Ice Wolf and the Fire Wolf Preparing for Battle”.
If you supported us at the loot level, you’ll be getting a bunch of things, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so I’ll post a picture once they’ve had time to get to their recipients.
In other news from the Wolfenoot family, we have one more week of school this term and then we get two weeks off. The first week, all the kidlings will be off with their other parents, and for Easter weekend, my love and I will be sneaking away for a bit of a holiday away from all of the mayhem. So don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from me. I’m looking very much forward to unplugging and taking a break.
I hope wherever you are in the world, things are well with you. Remember to hydrate, take your meds, if you have them, eat something healthy and hug someone you love, be it furry or human. I love you.
