April has been a bit insane for me, so I must apologise for dropping some balls, both over at the Patreon, and when it came to getting The Wolfenoot Story books out. I began to realise that I was flirting a little too emphatically with burnout and ended up taking a week off to regain my balance and recover.
The good news is that it seems to have had the desired effect, and I am feeling much clearer and more capable of getting things done now.
Almost all the deluxe Wolfenoot books have gone out – I am waiting on a couple of little art pieces from my Pup to finish off the last few, but he will be back tomorrow, so I am hopeful that we’ll get it all wrapped up this week!
It is not too late to order a copy! We even have copies of the deluxe book, still, though you should get in soon if you want that, as we won’t be printing more. Each one comes with a Wolfenoot bookmark, a signed numbered available-nowhere-else print by Maria Roshto, a letter from me and a small unique artwork from the pup.
Speaking of the Pup, he has been away at his Dad’s for the school holidays, and I am missing him a lot. Very keen to get him back tomorrow. Life just isn’t quite as colourful without him here, even if it is a lot quieter and calmer. 😉
As always, thank you so much for your support. Things are changing a lot in my life very rapidly, and your support for this weird and wonderful thing is such a joy and an honour. Truly, it has been an amazing, crazy, stressful, awe-inspiring seven months, and I am so grateful to you for being here and being forgiving and supportive as I stumble and figure out how to do this well.
I am trying to navigate keeping the spirit of the thing intact while also allowing it to support our family at least a bit in order to make up for all the time and energy I am pouring into it. I have such large and beautiful dreams for where it might go one day, but in the meantime, I am looking forward to getting back to making merch and sending funds the way of charities.
I am doing my best to keep this thing beautiful and wholesome and turn it into something amazing. I hope I am making you proud to be part of this.
I am certainly proud of all of you. ❤
