Kindness Challenge No. 3
This year, to celebrate Wolfenoot season, I am posting a series of challenges aimed at focussing the energy of Wolfenoot on spreading kindness and light in the world.
This is the third, and it should be an easy one for most Wolfenati.
Animals are at the heart of what we do here. Not just pets and domesticate animals, but more generally, conservation and the protection and understanding of wildlife and the role it plays.
So today’s challenge is very simple - just spend some time with an animal, hanging out and giving it your attention. If you have a dog or a cat or a feathered or scaled friend, just hang with them a bit - give them whatever it is they particularly love, whether that is scritches or space or treats or just your company.
If you don’t have a pet of your own, see if you can find a non-human to spend some time with. Even if that means just going outside your house and closing your eyes and enjoying the birdsong. Or bug hunting in your garden with your kids. (Remember to look, not touch, and teach them to respect our smallest beastfriends.)
Easy one, right? ;)
